How I Turned My Story Into a YouTube Video
Hey! I know I’m not the first person to branch out at YouTube after Medium but the way I’m doing seems to be a little different as far as I’ve seen.
I write fiction stories and will continue to do so. You can read them here if you would like:

Furthermore, I kinda did it in a manga or web comic style. I of course wrote the story (takes about 3–5 days) and then drew out every frame that would fit into one sentence. Example:
“Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall, Humpty Dumpty had a great fall, All the king’s horses and all the king’s men couldn’t put Humpty together again.”
*Then I would draw humpty dumpty falling and breaking with all the Kingsman trying put him together*
It’s pretty easy but you do need to know how to draw. I don’t really know how to draw but I would say I’m pretty creative and that’s all you need! You can look at this video and then look at my story here on medium to see how exactly I did that.
I use clip studio paint to draw the frames (took me about 25 days to draw but it depends how big the story is and how fast you can draw.) I pay $4 each month for the application.

And of course you’re gonna need a voice over to tell the story as a frame is showing. All you need is a microphone, I use a Blue Snowball iCE USB Microphone. And an application that can record your voice. I use Audacity and it’s completely free.

And then you’re gonna need software so you can edit and piece the frames and audio together. I use DaVinci Resolve and it’s free also. If you never edited and it seems complicated I promise you it’s not. I was the same but you have to try to at least get comfortable with it. Just look at a YouTube tutorial video if you get stuck.

And that’s pretty much all I do. It’s super easy but you just need to have a lot of patience and determination.
